Hollie suffers with a lot of wind hv seems to think its wind, she can be very unsettled wriggling her legs like she's in pain and can happen anytime of the day, tried infacol for weeks but never really did anything, hv said try gripe water been trying that for past few days not seen any change, has anyone got any experience with a windy baby and what has helped them x

One word . . . . . .Colief. Its way better than gripe water and infacol. You add a few drops to their milk and it helps to disperse tiny air bubbles that can get trapped in the gut. Ask your gp for a script for it xx

Oliver was a major windy baby and we used infacol until he was old enough for gripe water. In my experience gripe water was better for us although it was a pain in the bum to get down him.

We also did massage with him and the cycle movements with his legs when he was getting distressed with it

the only things that helped elijah was changing his formula (he was combination fed for a while and we went from aptimil to hipp organic ready made) and the cycling movements/baby massage on his abdomen/bum cheeks/lower back just gentle clockwise and downward strokes. it worked quite well if he was relaxed enough but it was hard to get him to relax when he had such a sore tummy

We had similar problems with Lily. We changed from SMA Gold to Aptimil and she was like a different baby over night x
