Before I started my job in the residential home I did a 4 week training course and met some lovely people. I added a few on FB.
Found out that one of the girls in my group was going to be working in the same home as me so we swapped phone numbers too.
I regret this so much.
She works full time whereas I do part time. She looks down on me for only working part time. Sh ehas given a few snide comments about it.
She is always texting me and talking to me on FB chat.
She thinks that she needs to tell me what floor I will be working on and the hours I am working.
I only do 9 til 3 on my 3 days in and those hours won't be changing anytime soon.
She really grates me!
When I collect the trolley with the tea/breakfast/lunch on it and if she is there she will tell me that I 'must' do it like this and I am not allowed to do that.
I know how to do my job I was trained too! She speaks to me as if she is my senior and tries to boss me about and a few other members of staff won't work with her as she thinks she runs the place
So I don't text her back but is there a way on FB that I can block her from chat? I can't block and delete her as we have friends in common and I don't want to get on the wrong side of her as I have recently heard that she is rough as anything so am kinda scared of her.
I don't want to change homes as I love where I work. There are 3 different floors so we never work on the same floor together but she is everywhere!
I can't go on FB and put myself offline as there are people on there that I do want to talk to x
