| well, poor little elijah has been in the wars, he has a bump and bruise on his head from trying to climb his cot...4 teeth trying to come through at the top...he has skinned/bruised his toe by pulling books down on his foot and now he has really awful nappy rash all over his bits/bum/thighs because of the teething! that's all really, i just feel really sorry for him and other than calpol, metanium and dentinox there really isn't much i can do for the little boo |

| poor poor button, I bet he does feel sorry for himself.
the only thing I can suggest (cos i swear by these things lol and have had a very grumpy Izzy cos I lost it!) is an amber necklace...they are for teething mainly but I think they help with everything - she is like a different toddler these last few days cos its not been on and her nose even started to run today - and within 2 hours of wearing it her nose stopped running and she cheered up. I may well put too much down to it - but I believe in it so much I made sure I ordered a spare cos I do not want Miss Naggy Pants ever making an appearance again! |

| haha well, if there was any chance of it turning up in the next 12 hours i would be much more likely to go for it! i looked at them before, but i'm just not convinced, i don't get *how* they work if things continue in this vane i might review that though... |

| the oils in the amber go into their skin, and thats a natural analgesic
Izzy has got through all her teeth coming through with very little problem, no dribbling or finger chewing...this weekend though she has been grumpy, whiney, chewing her fingers and dribbling ..yeh its been awful lol |

| Mari like you I have not been convinced! How the heck can stones affect/cure teething pffft! HOWEVER, Im now desperate, caitlin has nappy rash that sudocrem & bepanthem wont shift, a spotty chin that would suit a teen with a poor diet, is a total gurny gub & is waking every half hr to chew the cot bars soooo iv gave in & ordered one tonight! I'l update you on how it goes! Caitlin has never been that bad with teething, a bit gurny like id expect, but now its started to give her rashes/etc pain & grief im willing to try being a mother earth type mummy.... not that it suits me lol, all in the name of a good nights sleep all round! I'l keep you updated x |

i'll trust your judgement of course - i can buy him one if you want, don't feel you have to cos i'm dragging my heels oooh snap snoopy, i don't know which is worse his bum or his chin! i've been using metanium recently and it's loads better than even bepanthen and slathering his chin in vaseline (attractive!) to protect it. at least his bump has gone down and his toe is healing |
