| i know it depends on the child, but for us under one parents (not for much longer for me) how much does your little one say? ava can say mama, dada and nana which i know she understands as she directs them to the right people, everything else is gabble, she's also started doing a really creepy whisper gabble to herself reminiscent of 'the shining'. |

| That is great. Aimee was 'dadda' from 9 months to about 19 months! She then all of a sudden started throwing out loads of words at 20 months and was counting and all sorts within the space of 2 weeks. x |

| I think at the age, Sophia could say Mama, Dada, Bye and ta and that was about it!
The creepy whispering thing, has anyone seen that american comedy The Middle? The little kid Brick who says stuff then whispers it after? Sophia has started doing that! So funny!

| eli doesn't say anything at all! except oooooh, mmmmmmmm and boo when he is pulling a blanket over his head and pulling it off again - although to correct myself, eli talks constantly but i can't find any words yet my friends girl had maybe 15-20 recognisable words by 18 months and by 21 months was picking things up as you said them! (learned to be careful what we said that day haha) oooooh the whispering things a bit creepy have you thought of getting her christened? |
