| Subject: eyebrow wax advice Thu Mar 03, 2011 8:17 am | |
| i always get my eyebrows waxed at a salon but had it done yesterday and had a really bad reaction, its gone really raised up and bumpy and i cant stop itching, ive tried witch hazel and tea tree and its not hepled, can anyone recommend anything , it looks awful. |

| I have always been told to use the aloe vera stuff after have had threading etc. Its the green one, think its called sterex, have always found it to be really good x |

| sounds like the wax was maybe too hot! aloe vera is prob best |

| its worse today, its really lumpy, i found my boo boo balm that i used on my nipples when bf, so im giving that a go! |

| haha god, take pictures and take them to the place you went! i used to get my eyebrows/lashes dyed and stuff but then i got the fear that something would go wrong and either blind me or (god forbid) i would look like a total arse for weeks..... |

| Did the wax seem quite hot when they put it in? Sounds like it may have burnt you. Aloe vera is what we used to recommendt to clients x |

it didnt feel too hot, im not sure whether to complain or not, my skins quite sensitive so i do usually go a bit red but never had anything like this before. |

| Try sudocrem, I read somewhere that celebs plaster their faces with it every night for baby bum smooth skin Maybe see your dr so he can confirm if it is an allergic reaction or something xx |
