We sold Libbys trike on ebay the other day and the bloke has just been to collect it, Libby was watching out of the window and burst out crying saying 'BIKE!!!' so I gave her a cuddle and told her we'll get her a new one and she said 'sad' (meaning shes sad

I could of cried myself!! We've just shown her one online and asked if she wanted that one and shes perked up a bit now. Trouble with those trikes is the pedals being on the front wheels - Libby still cant reach them so we're getting her a normal big girls bike.

Poor thing though, she was heartbroken xx

oh no! that's so sad boo poor libby! my hubby is intent on elijah getting a balance bike (one with no pedals and no stabilisers) cos apparently they are better developmental-wise, least she would reach the floor

Laura, she climbed on the sofa just at the moment that he was putting it in the car, I didnt think she would see as both of them were stood behind the car out of our site! I think next time I'll go for a pee, she'll follow me in the bathroom then

Mari, we had thought about getting one of those but she is literally such a shorty that if she sat on the seat she probably wouldnt reach the floor still. We've found a 10" bike that has the pedals in the normal place (which is unsual - they're normally at the front wheels at that size).

Well I think she's gotten over it as she now just keep jabbering on about her new bike all afternoon, bless her .

We're getting her a Dora one off Ebay, I thought it was 10" but actually it's 12", we've tried her on some in Halford and 12" should be fine for Libby and she is only 82cm. If you look on Ebay and just type in 12" girls bike, loads come up and and you can get a brand new one fairly cheap. xx
