Wat are you ladies giving up for lent?i haven't yet decided-i'm thinkin about giving up alcohol but not sure i can do it (bad i know!) or maybe choc! X x

I don't even know what lent is, all i know is people give something up for 40 days ?

I will not be eating meat every friday through out lent.

Lent is a period of sacrifice.it's when jesus went into the desert and lasted 40 days and 40 nights without food or water and was tempted by the devil!x

Im given up housework! Thats a huge sacrifice i love it

nothing because I am too weak....

though I'd like to give up work cos I'm due back in 2 weeks

I think I'll give up ummm alcohol, runny eggs, soft ice cream and smoking

I don't have anything other then my laptop and phone to sacrifice?! I don't drink, I don't actuall have any biscuits, chocolate etc in the house. I suppose there's my fags but even the drs don't recommend me giving up at the moment. Soooooooo it's going to have to be.........my laptop! Well the internet anyways cos I need the laptop to keep an eye on the finances.

My pledge - As of 7pm tonight, I will not be using the internet (excluding bank website) until Lent is over..................

I just said to oh that i'm giving up sex for lent he asked how long lent was and I said 40 days and he said YEAH RIGHT! lol
