OMG remind me to never give Izzy a bit of cake!

I was telling LisaG that I gave her a bit of my lemon sponge at the garden centre the other day and 10 minutes later I was chasing a hyper active toddler through the garden centre .. she was like a hurricane .. ran up to the greeting cards display, grabbed a handful and threw them over her shoulder .. while I pick them up she runs to something else and starts lobbing it all over the pace, then stops throwing and is dancing all over the place, in the checkout booths, running all over the place! Shocked That is not normal for Izzy! I was not prepared and probably looked like the most feeble parent ever running after her trying to pick things up! Thing is she is never like that normally!

Lisa said it was probably the colouring in the cake that made her hyper .. she has never really hada cake, I can't remember her ever having it other than a bit of muffin

Anyway silly me forgot about that and this afternoon me and my mum got back from town and we had little fairy cakes ( i bought plain ones ready to ice) then are tiny, like 2 mouthfulls...well she ate it and a few minutes later was full of beans, doing acrobats, rolling, jumping, just crazy non stop .. yet this morning while I vacuumed she was snuggled under a blanket on the sofa full of cold and grumpy .. and then I remembered its THE CAKE!

haha, Chloe is the same after anything with a lot of sugar, I always know if my mum has given her a treat when I pick her up because of her behaviour. It does go to show how bad diets can be linked to bad behaviour in children

It does Mandy... luckily she wasn't proper naughty if you know what i mean, she was just hyper but I think it could easily turn to naughty if I tried to stop her!

She rarely has anything with added sugar, maybe the odd biccie but in a normal day she might not anything (she has natural sugar in fromage frais, fruit etc but that doesnt affect her)
