| Just wondering what you thought of this and have you had experience to prove that boys tend to walk sooner than girls??? I have alot of people say that boys are earlier walkers. |

| should have added that Cerys is still not walking on her own. one of the boys at toddler group was walking when he turned 1 and i just noticed that Semo's LO has learnt to walk already, he's bit younger than Cerys x |

| Oliver was 16mths when he was walking full time (15mth for his 1st steps) My friends little girl is 3wks older than Oliver and she started walking full time at 15mth'ish. Tbh, I don't think it has anything to do with age or genetics etc, I just think its down to the child as an individual and their personality. Oliver was brilliant on his feet but just lacked confidence to walk unaided. Its only recently he has become a little dare-devil |

all to their own dont worry dunno if you meant my c or not hon but she was 16 1/2 months when she 1st walked so quite a late on there too like oliver. i put yes as seems most boys walk earlier with some exceptions like michelles evan and my friends boy but i also think its got other factors. With C she was pretty late but its almost like she put all her energy into talking instead as shes got more words than a lot of kids her age but really dragged her heels on the walking thing |

| Jake walked at about 11 months, Aron didn't walk til gone 18 months!! My mum was a lazy bag and got her brother to fetch things for and was nearly 2 went she started walking!! My cousin was walking on her knees at 16 months and didn't bother using her feet til she was 18 mths or so!! She could walk on her feet but just preferred her knees!
I think it depends on each child!! Like Mario said her C talked first then walked, most kids seem to concentrate on learning one thing then the next!! My Jake was just a cocky bugger and wanted to do it all by a year old!!

| Tayla took her first steps at 11months and walked at 12months. But she is also a good talker. My brother walked at 9months, my sister was 10months and i was 12 months. I dont really think there is any patten or anything. Taylas two friends (girls) both walked at 12months too. |

| My first daughter walked at 9 months, my son walked at 11 months and Ellie is almost 13 months and only just starting to walk. So in my experience it doesn't make any difference. |

| My nephew walked at exactly 10 months, my son was 16 months. I'm not sure if there is a definite answer to this one but all I know is that all my friends toddlers (girls & boys) walked a lot sooner than my LO. He has never been in a hurry to do anything except for making a lot of noise. lol x |

| taylor walked exaclty 2 weeks before his first birthday megan was 10 months old, same age i was garry was exactly 2 weeks after his first birthday alasdair was almost 17 going on 18 months before he found his feet!! ben is too wee to think bout walking yet lol!! for me, having only 1 girl to base it on, my girl did walk sooner. i walked at 10 months sister 1 walked at 20 months sister 2 walked on her first birthday sister 3 walked at 11 months sister 4 walked at 14 months sister 5, due to a broken leg, never walked till she was 23 months sister 6 was 10 going on 11 months sister 7 was 10 going on 11 months imo, it depends on whether ur lo wants to walk for not. megan was too impatient, even for crawling, she was walking round the furnature before crawling :/ when it came to alasdair, he was a later starter with everything, he rolled every where then discovered crawling and was like lightnening. the went from cruising to walking in 2 weeks. then u get the push parents who think everything is a race ! |

| leo was about 7 months walking with a walker(push along) 10 months first steps and 11is months toddling properly. oliver was just over 12 months for first steps and started walking everywhere properly when we were on holiday whereas my sister walked at 9 months and i walked at 11 months so for us overall the girls were earlier x |

| Wil was 13 months when he first walked but it was another month before he really started walking on his own properly rather than just staggering a couple of steps
My neice was walking confidently at 12 months |

| Tyler took his first three or so steps on his first birthday and its the past few days he's taken to walking all the time instead of crawling. so 13 months. My friends little boy was walking about 10 months. |
