| how much is too much?, over the past few days ava's been really chugging down the water to the point wher she's totally bloated, ive took to taking her beaker off her, even in the bath tonight she was slurping up the water, is it something i should be concerned about, i know it can be a sign of diabetes. |

| IS it just a recent thing? Its just that Sophia gets extra thirsty before a cold and drinks loads, then goes back to normal after so could it be something as simple as that?
If its over a prolonged period though, then i would get checked out. But also depends how much a lot is. I mean like sophia having two full beakers of water a day is a lot for her but think that is not excessive.
Hope you work it out soon,
Mandy xx |

| My LO drinks loooooads (could easly drink 7/8 TT sippy cups in a day) and has done since he was 16mth'ish. He does/did dribble a lot (enlarged adenoids) I had to kind of monitor it to a certain extent too and he did 'fill up' on fluids rather than eating as eating takes a long time when he can hardly breath (due to the adenoids) its like he's got a constant cold Anyhoo, it has calmed in recent months and doesn't demand like he did - but he still gulps down each cup in one. If your overly concerned just double check with your HV or doctor. |

| Wil happily drinks about 3 pints of water/ juice in a day and more when it is warm.
I had him checked over last year because it seemed a lot but he is absolutely fine just likes a drink.
Maybe get her checked just to be sure. |

| I was worried about lillie as she always has really runny nappies, her poo has never formed so to speak. I brought it up with HV a while back and she said does she drink alot? wasnt till I wrote down every time she had a drink she drank loads during day! I have cut her water/ juice down but shes always thirsty and Ava she was (and still is) gulping bath water like shes dying of thirst. But when I went back to the HV she said they sometimes use drinking water/ juice like a comfort and becomes a habit. Since Iv tried to distract her from having juice/ water during day shes now ok so seems to be a habit for Lillie. But Diabetes did come up and was the next thing to check if that didnt work. so I would keep an eye. xx |
