i cannot get finlay to eat breakfast some mornings he will take some banana or 2 spoons of weetabix but thats about it, i have tried every kind of cereal, baby ones, co co pops (he always seems to want the boys) all he wants is his bottle he has never been a big eater but always had breakfast it has been going on for about a month so its not like he is getting a cold of something
anyone got any ideas or suggestions of what to give him?? thanks

hmmm, could it be teething making him not want to eat??
other than that iv no idea, i dont have any problems getting enought food into my piggies

ohh just a though, try offering him it a bit later, so he's had time to wake up properly, i know i dont feel like eating first thing sometimes and wait till after the school run...im sure he wont go hungry though xx

thanks gemz hes sleeping now just got up had his bottle then gone straight back to sleep he has had noting this morning, maybe he needs to go to bed earlier at night

the only thing is if i give it to him later then he wont eat much for lunch i suppose he must be full enough or he would eat ?? lol xx

maybe push lunch back a little?? iliver has lunch late, around 2pm, because he naps befor then, but i should imahgine if i tried to offer it earlier he wouldnt eat as much?? xx

if he wants the boys breakfast can you pretend that is what he is getting.. Tyler always prefers to eat MY breakfast so if I have toast, I make enough for Tyler and he just has it off my plate.

I know thats not easy with older children but it might work?

what about toast will he eat that does he like to feed himself? Tyler prefers to feed himself so we have ot give him either porridge weetabix (he loves the chocolate ones) and toast.

oh forgot to say - what about fruit, could you make him a fruit salad or soemthing? or how about pancakes? mmmm omelette? I know its more of a lunchy meal but sitll good for him?

Tayla went through a stage of not eating cereal at all too so just kept trying diff things.

Caitlin doesnt take cereal. It started with her being an independant moo & then it became habit (for both of us!). I usually give her a slice of toast cut in small bits and then a pear or apple or fruit salad eg pineapple chunks/melon/mango/grapes. She likes this as she can sit and feed herself what she likes.

i give him toast too just to see if he will eat it
he will usually have toast then if he doesnt eat it (usually finishes on the floor) then i will try cerial if he doesnt eat that i will offer him fruit witch he will sometimes take,
he wont eat eggs, he just tends to throw things every where lol
