Hiya, well Tayla took her 1st steps at 11months and started walking properly at 12months.
Im just a bit concerned that she can still be quite wobbly? If shes in her own little world and playing happily she will walk perfectly fine. But when she gets excited/shows off or is outside (sometimes) she walks and runs like a drunk!
Do you think its something i should be worried about? I did ring the HVs about it and they said to get her new clarkes shoes often and make sure they fit well and that some toddlers are wobbly until they are 4 Neutral
Im not sure whether to make a Dr's appointment just to check up on her or not or wether this is normal?

I would say its quite normal tbh, Olivers been walking about 5mth now and he still wobbles..like Tayla - when he gets a bit giddy and his brains engaging, but his feet arn't reacting as quick as he wants them too. Also when he's tiered he wobbles, stumbles and topples over.

How long has she been walking in shoes? (I remember you saying you had trouble keeping shoes on her at times) Do you find she wobbles more when she's wearing shoes or is she the same bear foot?

I don't think Clarkes shoes are gunna make a whole load of difference tbh..as long as they are well fitted, supported shoes then that should be ok.

Thanks for your reply! Yeah she wouldn't wear shoes for ages, shes been wearing them since june now though.
Thats what i think may be the problem is that she always in such a rush lol, she gets really excited and runs rather than walks i think her brain is faster than her feet!
I might try and get a video and try an upload it, although as soon as she sees my camera or phone she stops Rolling Eyes hehe. I just thought that by this age she would be more steady x
