So Lewis has just learnt how to craw and pull up on things to his knees. Prob now is he won't lie on his back in his cot and will roll around, kneel up etc and we keep having to go and and sort him out. He is in a sleeping bag and used to be tucked in with a sheet but he gets out of it know. Any advice. Can't rem what we did with H x

Nope alfie gets himself around too. The other night i went in cos i heard him moaning and he was sitting up at the end of his cot cuddling his teddy bear fast asleep!! i just keep moving him back when i go to check on him but he always ends up in a different position in the morning x

elijah's cot is still attached to our bed (umm probably will be til he is ten at this rate!) but he gets up, crawls, the other day i woke up and he had pulled his amber necklace off and was hanging it over the side of the cot cos it was making an interesting noise hitting off the wood......i dont think there is much you can do! elijah has bashed his head from standing up a few times, but the sleeping bag doesn't seem to make any difference, at least he stays warm - i think just make the cot as safe as possible and maybe put it to a lower height if needs be

As soon as I would lay him down he would roll over onto his front then onto all fours then sit up and cry or get onto his knees so had to go in and lay him down again. Anyway was just having a read of Gina Fords book and she says it's common at his age and that you should leave him sat up or kneeling etc and show them how to get down themselves or they will expect you to do it so I have just lef him sat up with teddy and it's been quiet for a while now so he's asleep so obviously found his way to a comfy sleeping position x
