Hey Ladies

On such a sad day I am reminded of what we have here, a community, a support network and real friends.

Banda is my baby and I am proud of what its become and I am also really really grateful for its members - without you ladies it would be nothing!

You all backed me up when I started it when it was nothing but an empty page, you spent time building it up to what it is today and I couldn't have made banda what it is without you all

So thank you ladies for making US what we are today, and Laura thank you too for being here

Thank you for creating banda, without you guys I wouldn't be where I am today and considering what I am considering. You have all shown me so much love and support, have put me in my place when I have needed it and have lifted me when I am down.

You should have a real sense of pride about this site lisa. You have worked so hard at it (Iv saw you online when im about at stupid o'clock ).

I liked AB when I was there (bar threads being trashed cos im a nosey moo!), and I was a bit of a dope who didnt see the divides/control of some people. But I have to say since BANDA last August I feel so much closer to all the ladies. In AB I think i had about 3 mummy friends on fb, since banda I now have 60+ of you on my fb. I feel like I can trust you all and everyone is so supportive. It speaks volumes how much more open people can be on banda without fear of attack, judgement- and even if there is a slight tiff we act like adults and talk round it.

I appreciate how you encourage member participation and it feels like we all own a bit of banda as you include us in decisions/welcome ideas. I feel 100% comfortable pm'ing you and you always reply. You have time for us all.

Lisa, you have done an aboslutely amazing job with this site. I honestly have no idea how you've done it all but you should be so much. You should be so proud!
I can only speak for myself but Banda came at just the right time with me as I'd pretty much given up with AB at that time and feel that old sense of friendship and community here. I haven't been around as much lately but i always appreciate the friendships i've made here and honestly I doubt i would have been able to get through pregnancy and motherhood without you all. xx

I agree with everyone else, I was never a regular poster in AB anyway only went in the birth clubs and pg bits but I'm never "scared" or intimidated to post something or to say what I actualy think about something and I know that even if no one agrees with me it doesn't mean we can never speak again lol we're all grown up's here and I love how close everyone is.
