How the hell did that happen?
This is the poem I wrote in OH's anniversary card
Eleven years and gallons of tears
Houses three, a hundred shouts of 'knee, knee'
Cats in the sink, please all be quiet I can't think
Two dogs and a ball, there's a dead mouse in the hall.
One mummy and a shout of 'where's dummy?'
A bleary eye and a call 'mum, mum, want get up?'
'Oh William, it's only half four, please shut up'.
Often there's a sorry but recently it's all 'lorry, lorry'
A noisy train, that's etched on my brain
A meow, a cry and a bark
Thank god for Hinchingbrooke Park.
I've lost count of the times I've said 'no'
Or heard 'let's go'
A nag from dad
I think I've slowly gone mad
Because for all the strife
It's actually quite fun being your wife.
