Every time I put Jamie on his tummy he just finds his thumb and sucks it. He has no interest in toys and I wondered if anyone had any ideas how to encourage him to try other things. He can push his head right up because he does it when you hold him. The only thing he ever seems to want at the moment is you to hold him so his standing and his 18lb11 so that hurts your arms quite quickly and I can't do that all day

Sorry how old is he hun? Do you have a door bouncer or jumperoo or is he too little? If you could get him in there and blow some bubbles abouve his head that might tempt him to look around?

I found that propping a rolled up towel under her chest helped, and the best thing for keeping her interest was a mirror!

If you have the space I would recommend a jumperoo - I put a small pillow behind her at around Jamies age, so her head dint fall back - Also had to put foam mats under her feet as she was too small to reach the floor - but even though she didnt bounce she still loved the toys and the swaying when she moved

This is probably a stupid question but what is a jumperoo and where would I be likely to get one. We have some problems with toys as his so big and weighs too much for some but i'll look into it

eli hated tummy time til about errrrm 7 months! i used to get stressed out by it. something you can do which counts as tummy time is lie on your back or slouched in a chair and have him on his tummy on your chest/stomach - your face will be interesting to him!
