Caitlin had a severe milk allergy and was dairy free until she was about 15months when we slowly started introducing dairy in the form of yoghurt's, cheese, choccy etc.
If you think a dairy free diet would help (Caitlin prone to eczema too and too much dairy is a recognised trigger by dr's and something we watched for when re introducing it) then I would say go for it. A dairy free diet can be very healthy. That alpro 1 + was recommended to us by dietician as Caitlin still cant have cows milk as a drink, we havent tried it however as our local tesco doesnt sell it. We still use prescription formula, or tbh none at all atm as she has stopped btls.
If you want to cut out dairy completely, or reduce it a bit more alpro soya yoghurt's are good, you can also get Pure spread which is soya or sunflower oil based. Tbh milk is in so many foods once you check labels you will be surprised (pancakes, biscuits, sauces etc). Perhaps just switching milk will make the difference but just incase it doesnt maybe think of other dietary swaps you could do. Hope it works. Feel free to pm me anytime! x
