| I was induced with Aimee, as I was already 3cm, so I didnt 'go into labour' with her. With Lily I had a few niggles in the night, went for my sweep (at 38 weeks) in the morning and was told I was already 4cm. I stayed at home with Aimee all afternoon and then went properly into labour at about 7pm. x |

| Both very different (!) but born 40mins apart, 6.04pm & 6.44pm so I'd say day time labours?? Although waters went the night before with bean. Where as with pip, well... you know the rest Gosh not long at all Susan, you'll be wishing him back in there in no time but uurrrgh can imagine you're more than ready! It's so weird looking forward to something you have no idea how it's going to pan out! Hope you're resting up as much as poss xx |

| One of each for me, with Oscar my waters broke about 1am followed by contractions and he was born at 11am the same day, with Niamh I woke about 6.30am with contractions and she was born at 6pm that day.

| Thank you so much everyone!! So the theory is right that spontaneous labour usually happens at night then. I am getting really fed up, just want to meet him now, see what he looks like, see how Libby takes to her baby brother, get into a routine instead of waiting around, be mobile again and play with Libby etc. etc. (not much really ) I have got a feeling it will be a case of an induction due to going overdue so I'm kind of trying to expect that, if he comes before then I will of course be over the moon!! xxx |

| I think the theory is that after a days worth of being mobile / upright that's more likely to brings labour on; can honestly recommend staying upright and mobile as long as possible either way; as once it's started you're next thought is how long it's going to be! ("ooo I've got ages yet..." I quickly learned it's very true that no two labours are the same!) xx |

Jen, hmmm I'll have to look into a full moon, although I'll be worried about him coming out as a werewolf!! (mind you Libby was/is as hairy as a werewolf ) xxx |
