| Mods feel free to move to Gen Preg, but just thought it might get answered quicker in here.
Does anyone know with your first baby once they have engaged they can pop back out again??
When I saw the MW at 34 weeks, little miss was 1/5th engaged, now all of a sudden today I have hiccups in the top of my bump??!
Do you think she might have popped out again and now be breech?? Ive always felt hiccups down near my bits before when she has been head down. xx

My midwife always said that Lily was facing downwards, and when I got to 8cm dilated, they decided to tell me she was back to back and she wasnt quite there, so I think it can defo happen. x

Well ive just got back from the MW and the good news is that she is still head down and is now 2/5ths engaged, which is good. On the other hand I have a BP that is playing up, when she first checked it, it was 138/95. She made me lie down on my left side and it dropped to 110/75 which is fine, but she has taken some PET bloods as a precaution and I have to go back again tomorrow to get the results and also to have my BP checked again and my urine dipped again. Ive just text my friend who is a 3rd year MW student to find out what she thinks they will do with me if my BP is high again, but she said if the bloods aren't fine then I will be admitted to hospital. So its a waiting game now to see what tomorrow brings, fingers crossed the bloods are fine. xx

don't worry too much - alyssa is pretty much fully cooked now (hope i spelled that right!) i had the same from i think 35 weeks onwards, into day assesment unit etc then sweep then induced at 37 weeks due to pre-eclampsia. what i can say is none of it was as frightening as it sounds when you think about it - even if you go to get assessed and things with your blood results aren't perfect, you are in good hands so please dont worry and on the plus side (i know it's terrible but this kept me going at the time) if your bp etc isn't great, they have picked it up quickly and you might have your baby a little sooner than you thought x

Yeah thats what I thought Mari, at least she is fully cooked now, so if they did need to deliver her sooner then thats good. Just can't help feeling a little disheartened that it wasn't a normal reading on my BP though as I have felt great this last few days now im on Maternity Leave. Oh I just want my baby here now xx

And just to be mean id like to point out this could be the beginning of 3 weeks in and out of hosp. From 34/35 weeks my BP played up. Always high (one day was 170/110) but cos urine was generally clear (+1 occasionally) and bloods fine they left me until due date before inducing. However I was up at hospital all day every other day 'resting' and having traces/bloods checked and couldnt go home until bloods came back clear and BP settled. Was like a 2nd home by the time I was induced, which actually looking back was nice. Really hope your BP is fine, but just wanted to say even if it plays up & there no other symptoms you could still have a wait... in saying that starting induction on due date instead of 12 days over is pretty good! So exciting that you are full term now ! Seems like yday you were ttc! Do you have anyones number on here to text when she arrives or are you just gonna disappear for a week and have us all gossiping

My consultant didnt Mari! She went on hols and they started sweeping me at 37 weeks... she came back, said it was a waste of time and left me til 40 weeks being monitored all the fecking time. Hmph! Im not bitter about it at all you know Being induced the night before my bday and waking up to a failed induction was always my plan! Siobhan, to be fair you prob will be luckier than me and have a consultant who is nice! xxx

Let us know what they say chick but to make you aware they dont always act on bloods and bp. I had high bp from 2nd trimester, symptoms of pre ec from 2nd trimester and raised PET bloods from 3rd but it wasnt til i actually showed some protein on a hossie dip (id been dipping it with the mw for weeks) that they acted and that was with a history of severe pre ec previously. Dont wanna be a party pooper just dont want you getting too discouraged, they try and hold you out as long as poss uless they have to
