Last couple months have been really up in the air with one thig and another and ive been guilty of letting beebies take over so c been watching way too much tv and not playing with her toys.
So today awen went down for a nap and tv went off and we had a lovely half hour or so sat on the floor playig. We got her duplo out and built her a house, i built most of it and she completed the chimney for me then we built a car and a car port (arch). We then decided the house needed a heliport and had to demolish the chimney ufortunately so since the heliport was installed the carport then became a roof gazebo. LOL!!!
We also got out her happyland figures-we picked out a nurse, a pirate, a girl with red hair and a girl in a wheelchair who became mummy, daddy, caelyn and awen in a buggy and they lived in her house and used the boat (which was apparently a nee naw boat) to go to the shops to buy sausages. Daddy was naughty though and had to go in the brig.
Once she got the hang of the happyland stuff needing her to use her imagination a bit she was well away and our little family soon developed a cat and dog who didnt live on the boat but in the garden of the house eatig biscuits (a happyland desert island with piece of gold on it-the gold was dog biscuits apparently) and i was able to sneak off for a sneaky 20 mins doze and leave her to play alone.
No real point to this post except i had fun with me girl today and its nice to feel like a proper mummy again
it's lovely to spend a bit of time just doing nice things isn't it
