Ok so it's Lottie's 4th birthday tomorrow. We took her to Toys R Us the other week to get some ideas for pressies. She walked around saying 'Oooh that's nice I'll have that for my 5th birthday'
She was sooo fussy and couldn't seem to pick anything out.
One thing she did point out was the 'Tangled' Rapunzel tower, but then she walked away from it and moved onto something else. When we looked at it it was £30 and to be honest it was pretty naff and we didn't think it was worth the money so we didn't get it. She did say that she wanted a Rapunzel dress (she loves dressing up).
So anyway today my Mum went to buy her the dress and they are out of stock everywhere
, the woman was even ringing up the other stores and they were all out too, so now she has a Silvermist dress (from Tinkerbell).
Anyway today she spent some time with my Mum and my Sister and was proudly telling them about her birthday tomorrow and how she is getting a Rapunzel Tower
so now I feel terrible that the 2 things she wants her birthday she isn't getting.
I know that kids have to learn that they cant have everything they want, but she really isn't a brat and hasn't asked for anything...other than what she isn't getting.
