I ordered MIL some lovely flowers from Next and they were meant to be delivered yesterday....well they didnt come
I rang Next this morn and they said they had been delivered but left in a a secure location at the front of the house
So MIL checked, nothing, no note either. So have just rang them back, they have to get in touch with the courier and ring me back....Grr how annoying!!

Thats really bad when they say that!

Happened to me once and they said 'secure location' so asked for specifics and they said in the garage. Well I was living on the farm at the time and I didn't have a garage, and my parents garage was always locked! Anyway my dad found the parcel (an expensive item inside) on the end of our drive way which is really long, cant see the farm from the end, and it was just tucked next to the bridge, could even have rolled in the river!
SO maybe get your MIL to check everywhere!

argh! i bet someone has nicked them, or they are well hidden. i hate when couriers do that!!!

pffff if that had been me lisa i would have just said well it didn't turn up and we haven't signed for it and claimed another thing from the courier.

grrrrr ! ,,,, we had a parcel left in our bbq before with no note whatsoever , luckily it was summer and we used the bbq every weekend !

She has checked everywhere, their house is in the middle of no where so highly unlikely its been nicked. Rang them for a third time, this time very angry and demanded to speak to a supervisor, she said it had been left in the porch? Um well unless the courier had a key i doubt it
She said she would refund me and i said it wernt good enough, i feel bad for letting my MIL down and has also ruined my 'first' mothers day and how was i meant to get flowers for Brighton to Yorkshire for today!?

Litlewoods havnt even dispatched ours yet!!!

Thats terrible unreliable these companys are. Glad u got the refund tho.

was just speaking to my friend , she had next flowers sent to her mum and half of them are all wilted ,, she said for the price she paid she has been heavily ripped off x

I had some next flowers delivered a few years ago and they were naff - I wouldnt order from them again x

There are many many reasons why I despise next and all they stand for and this is just another one to add to my long list! They are one of the most unprofessional and badly managed companies I have ever had the displeasure to work for! Gah!

Well rang them for the 4th time, i am fuming! Their customer service was terrible! I asked to speak to a manager and he said 'How come?' Had to repeat myself 5 times grrr.
Any who got the manager writing a letter of apology and sending a voucher to Mil and refunding me. I said its still not good enough, ive wasted my whole day chasing them, running up my phone bill! I asked for all their names and im writing an email now!

Umm ok...someone turned up this morning at Mils house with the flowers
They had been delivered to his house but he had been away all weekend , mils house is called The Grange and his house is called Grange Farm!
So err, im not going to ring Next and tell them though

See even with my deep rooted hatred for next I think I would be the type of weirdo odd ball that would ring them out of guilt that the delivery man would get in trouble

Thats just me though hun - I wish I could be a bit harder. I'm the type of person that always owns up if i get too much change or would hand in a fiver if I found it on the floor in ASDA - pathetic! I know

Aw Debs thats not pathetic just honest. I do feel bad for the courier but at the end of the day he should of read the address properly (i also stated do NOT leave in a 'secure location' and if Next had done their job properly and rung me back and been good at customer service i would of been honest with them and say we have them now but im not wasting another couple of quid ringing them back again!

Having thought about it again hun - nah don't tell them. The delivery man is obviously a div! and he needs telling so he doesnt stuff up some other poor mummy's mothers day/birthday.

If he gets the sack you will be doing him a favour freeing him from the scumbag employers that are next (can I get done for libel for posting my opinion on here? )

Oh jeez it gets worse, mil just txt she just had a delivery of garden stuff and the courier asked if she got her parcel the other day as he had left it at the wrong house, apologised and said he had used his map this time! Now what do i so lol!?

I still wouldn't tell them, the point still stands she didn't get her mothers day flowers on mothers day. If they ask tell them if not leave it
