As a general rule how much sleep do you get each night? How much do you need to feel decent the next day?

I generally only get about 6 hours sleep a night but that is enough for me. The more I get the worse I seem to feel the next day.

I am rarely in bed before 11.30 and am almost always up before 6 but if I go to bed earlier or get up later I always feel more tired the next day.

So much for needing 8 hours

Tbh I've never actually payed too much attention to how much in terms if hours I get and how I feel.
I tend to be in bed at about 11 but the amount charlies been up recently with illness, teeth, coughing and the bottles I reckon I probably get about 6 hours too.
Sometimes I feel great on that and others I could sleep for another 6!
It takes me ages to fall asleep as well drives me mad! Even in the middle of the night it takes a while

I actually need about 10 hours a night, but if I've got anything taking my attention I seem to get by on 6. Generally I get at least 7 hours although in the last couple of weeks it's been a lot less. Probably due to the excitement of everything.

My intentions are to go to bed at 11:30 and be up by 8.

I get about 8 hours but could really do with 9/10 to feel good, need to start going to bed earlier but am so busy in the evening catching up with what i didn't manage during day lol

Probably about 6-7hrs at night - usually asleep around 2am and up at 8-9am.

Quite often though I may get another hrs during the day when Caitlin napping as I am tired and obviously not getting enough sleep at night.

Id say I need 9-10 hrs a night to wake up feeling good. Im really going to try the next few weeks to get in more of a routine of being asleep by 11 and cutting out the naps.

i get 6-7max sleep im rarely in bed before midnight and im up by 7 in the morning x I do feel ok just takes me a while before i feel motivated x

well at moment its about 6 hours but its broken with the odd loo break.
normally about 7-8 i would get, have to be up for school run. but on weekend we all have late night and we dont go to bed till 12 and then we up between 9-10 if rich at my dads then we use to sleep in till 11

i'm usually asleep by 10:30-11pm. Mon-weds i get up at 6:15 for work.

thurs-fri up at 7 to take OH to work.

today up at 8 for for OH to be at work for 9.

sunday though i generally wake up between 7-8 if rowan is still sleeping. he usually wakes at 7 though.

mine all depends on how much i wake up in the night. some times i'm up 10 times just to use the loo but managed to knock it down to 3 some times. 2 if i'm lucky.

I get about 5-6 hours at the mo. I don't know what's wrong with me but I struggle to get to sleep before 1 and I'm more often than not awake at 6 but don't get up till 7. I do need more but don't seem to be able to get it the mo.

I normally get 9 hours (10-7) sometimes I sleep for 10 hours on a weekend.

My hubby and I have always been early to bed. Usually anytime from 9.30. Though if we are all well then it can be as late as 10.30 (that's late for us, lol). We are both up at 6am every morning to get ready for work and to get George ready for nursery/grandma.

So generally we feel good if we have had 7/8 hours a night. Very rarely that is a straight 7/8 hours. Most nights we wake up to 3 times to go the toilet or to go in and resettle George.

I get generally 9 hours (10-7) but at the min it's alot less due to alfie's constant coughing all night!i can survive on 7 without feeling too grumpy x

OMG depressing me lol Im in bed when kids are and up before. But when I go to bed with them Il watch telly in bed till 10:30-11ish then up with hollie about 4 then I dont really go back may drift off for an hour till OH alarm goes off at 5:30 then il get up. so I get about 5ish hours.

Im copin on it, and when I havnt got the kids I still wake the same but Idealy I would love 8 hours lol x

ummm if i go to bed about 11.30 elijah is up by 6 most days, but up anything up to 10 times during the night so probably about 5 hours at the moment argh

I don't mind if I don't get lots of sleep, as long as it's not interupted!

i probably get between 6 and 8 hours, i could do 12 hours straight quite easily.

however i now have 2 little people that dictate that i dont, i still sometimes get 9 hours but its always broken.

E sleeps far better now but the most i have had is 6.5 unbroken sleep

most nights benjamin is (used to be 7) down for 8pm...he wakes at about midnight for dummy re-insertion (adam usually does this, as i sleep through this...dunno how, but i just do!)
then he sleeps through til (most nights) 3-4am and whinges for an hour (he wants a bottle!!) but we dont allow him in our bed til 5am for bottle. Then he has bottle, and naps from then til 6-7. I am very lucky if i get til 8!! (happened once or twice)
most days i survive on 5-6 hrs interrupted sleep.

I get between 9 and 10 hours per night (depending on what time I go to bed). Ellie is a fab sleeper and sleeps from 7.30 til 7.30-8.30am every night. I need my 9 hours, I've always needed my sleep, thankfully oh and my other kids are fab sleepers too.

i generally get no more than 6hours...that is usually with getting up 2 or 3times to see to little miss too...i'm pretty used to so little sleep and have befriended energy drinks to get me through!

i get between 3 and 7 hours sleep. 3 makes me exhausted but can manage, i would like about 8 hours lol

I get between 3 and 5. Totally self imposed as i could have more, all the kids sleep through so no getting up, but i hate going to bed early xx

Im eeevil if I dont get 8 hours sleep a night.

I normally go to bed at 11pm and get up between 7am and 8am.
