We have that problem too. Imogen's not quite as bad but she'll splash and scream and scoot away like it's a game. I've started doing it slowly, instead of using anything to pour water over, i just scoop some water in my hand then put it over her head and play with her hair a bit so doesn't really realise what I'm doing. It takes longer but she doesn't scream and mess around as much

I have vivd memories of being about 2/3 in the bath and screaming my head off because i had to have my hair washed. I didn't like the water on my face even when my head was back it still went in. Have you tried one of them little hat thingies that stop the water completely?

Oliver used to have his moments where he'd freak out if I rinsed his hair, but he's not half as bad now as he has showers so he's kind of used to having water on his head.

But...I found another good tip was to see if he could 'swim'. I'd say @show mummy your swimming and he'd lay in the bath with his head just above the water level but it give me oppertunity to rinse it, then he'd get wise and sit up, so i'd say..ohh, thats brilliant baby, show mummy again Wink Laughing Cos he gets loads of praise from it, he does it again and again lol - could be worth a try, otherwise try the shower head - I find if you let them play with it a bit 1st they don't freak out half as much. xx
