ok, does anyone have any tricks i can use to get liquid amoxicillin into elijah??? he just spits it all out. i don't think he is quite old enough to understand bribery, distraction has worked a few times but didn't this morning so his medicine went down the inside of his pyjama top....

any ideas?

When Jamie has antibiotics we have to give them to him a tiny little bit at a time (the least amount we can move the syringe) because he spits them out otherwise. We've also done it where we give a little bit then shove a bottle and some milk in his mouth. Hope you work it out

hmmmmm we have let him play with the medicine bottle (bad parenting) and have tried giving him his advent chocolate straight after, but if he sees the chocolate he gets upset cos he wants it straight away....ugh, why is it so sticky??? it tastes of pina colada i dont blame him for not liking it
