| Tbh hun I'm not gonna be much help as both of mine are a nightmare. This might sound awful but it usually involves a small child in a headlock, a lot of kicking and screaming and both of us wearing more calpol than actually went in but it's either 30 seconds of that or hours of suffering so I go for the first option Hope Callum is feeling better soon hun. xx |

| The baby ibuprofen should come with an orange syringe, or you can buy from boots chemist for £1 or something
I don't have a problem as Izzy looooves medicine and opens her mouth like a little bird...but the syringe is much easier than a spoon! |

| My LO takes it no probs either but I have been known to do Debs technique in the past too. Does he take a dummy? could you maybe try one of these? They sell them in boots and wilko's, either that or a syringe |

| Never realised how lucky I was with Caitlin & medicine. I thought all babys loved it. As soon as Caitlin see's the calpol she spits her dummy out and stands with her tongue out and mouth wide open! Hope the syringe works and he better soon. x |

| syringe is easiest, most chemists will give you one if you can go and explain the problem, other than that try a bottle but you would have to mix it in with something and it would probably be an awful concoction! |

| Tylers a nightmare too... sometimes he will take his medicine but today he most definately won't... when he actually needs it! Syringe is the only chance we have of getting him to take it... squirt it into the cheek and then give some drink to make sure they can't spit it out! |

| The sringe is defo the best option. Aimee has her meds 3 times a day (sigh) and she can sometimes take it and sometimes have a tantrum. We find that either putting the sringe in her cheek (so she cant taste it) is good, or tipping her head back and kind of forcing it at the back of her throat also works. You can buy good ones which dont 'blow' in boots or get free ones from your local chemist, which tend to only last a couple of weeks x |

| even my 4 year old has medicine from a shringe. the majority of the time we have to pin them down and squirt a bit at a time to the back of their throat so the dont choke but cant spit it out you have to be cruel to be kind sometimes x |

| Both mine love medicine too Hope the syringe works. It brings back memories of trying to get worming tablets into our cat, never good. At least children don't have claws |

Putting the syringe in side of the mouth, towards middle/back of tongue, with slow squirt works best - although we have another medicine lover here with neurofen and calpol! x |

| We used to use a syringe for madam but now she takes it from a spoon. Syringe didn't work for us so we used to pour it from a spoon into her mouth during bum change xxx |
