I've just been to the doctors with Robert and he has Viral Bronchiolitis. The doctor has given him amoxicillin medicine and said he can have paracetamol to take the temperature down, so can he have both at the same time? I dont want to overdose him!

Yes he can hun. When Amelia was poorly she had the same medicine. My doc said to give it to her and give her Calpol and then 4 hours later Calprufen then another Calpol 4 hours later. I was to keep going like this if I thought she needed it (no more than 3 doses of calprufen in 24 hrs and no more than 4 doses of Calpol). I just gave her the anti-b's at regular times throughout the day and her painkillers when she needed them, sticking to the every 4 hour rule above. HTH xxx

yes its absolutely fine they're completely different active ingredients... you only need to be careful if you ever use any product that contains paracetamol...
