And im mummy jack shun and neil is daddy jack shun |

its hilarious when they find new surfaces that are good for it! Izzy only just realised her changing unit makes good noises...so trying to clean her butt while she has it in the air and blowing raspberries is quite tricky! |

| I haven't added here for a while, so I will try to think where she is now She has perfected saying all her facial features now and likes to point them out on all her toys which is very cute Counting is not much further forward, its like un, two, fee, der, der, der, se-vin, ny-in...although Im hoping she will learn this soon as we count 1-12 EVERYTIME she goes up and down the stairs! She has learnt how to beep peoples noses Very funny in the morning when Dan trying to sleep and I get her in the bed and ask her to Beep daddies nose, she gently pinches it and says beep Kisses are now perfect, you ask her for a kiss and she purses her lips, kisses you and does a kiss noise! She loves dancing with her bears...and holds them by their ears to dance..if I try to give her their hands she rearranges it all and has to holding ears between thumb and forefinger....very picky with her dancing! She is pretty good at running now, but problem is she never looks at the floor! So is forever tripping over stuff! New words she likes to use are hat and hair, on and oof (for lights/TV, toys etc), up and down, more, all done, all gone, daddy gone, num num, see & knee (Wigsy(Biggles) and Denny), fuff fuff (anything that may be found in ones toes, belly button, in the bed, on the floor!), money (she got loadsa chocolate money for xmas), night night, mornin (sooooo cute) |

| My 2 year old daughter is learning new words everyday and they become more and more clear. She is starting to talk in 3-4 word sentences and I love it. If she meets someone for the first time or she just wants to start a conversation she always talks about her shoes. The newest words/phrases that she has added to her vocabulary would be: "I see you" and "I love you". |

| olivers talking has come on so much the past few weeks, he is learning new words each day eg this morning(him in his cot shouting leo) eeeeoooooo, i went in he looked at me and said 'out' tring to climb out, pointing at the books saying 'book', then i said put dummy in the basket then, he put the dummy back in his mouth and laid down and said 'nanight'.. then when i picked him up after work, he kept saying 'dance' when a song came on the radio iv lost track of how many words he can say now, he will attempt to copy anything and is associating word's with item now too...especially 'egg x |

| This week Imogen has learned to point to her head, nose, eye and mouth, and to point to these on other people. She's not quite sussed out ownership yet: "where's your nose?" -toddles over to touch daddy's nose.
Cheek and chin seem to have confused her so I'm now tackling major body parts like foot, tummy etc.
She's still not saying many intelligible words though, mainly just babble. I think she tried to say cat yesterday, but it could just have been a coincidence! |

| This will be of no interest to anyone else but just thought id try and list all the words/phrases Caitlin can say at 21 months. Words - Mummy, daddy, nana, nanny, cat, sheep, cow, duck, dog, shoe, sock, coat, ball, bowl, no, yay, oh, seat, chair, slide, bear, baby, man, daisy, nose, eye, ear, hair , belly button, knee, bum, poo, nappy, foot, pram, car, keys, flower, butterfly (fly), chocolate, banana, bun, apple, carrot, plate, dummy, stuck, fall, bye bye, hello, yummy, yuck, up, balloon, stairs, sand, blue, yellow (rarely gets them right but) one, two, clock, ping (when clock chimes, or micro goes lol), fart, please, work Animal noises for - cow sheep horse fish snake lion tigger dog cat mouse duck Phrases - Ball away, daddy away, mummy gone etc Oh no, all done, all gone, ball gone, seat a bum, go away, baby stuck, oh no ball away, I fart, daddy work Points to most body parts. (Chin, cheek and eyebrows are still confusing) Her vocabularly seems to be expanding every day now. Im sure she can say more but I cant remember! It was only a few months ago I thought she was slightly behind speech wise (she always babbled constantly but!) and now im amazed at the speed she is learning |

| Wil has finally reached the point where I can have a conversation of sorts with him providing it is something he is interested in.
His vocabularly has expanded massively since I started asking him questions in response to his questions so
'What you doing?' will initially get an explanation of what I am doing and the next time it is asked (immediately usually) it is met with 'what do you think I am doing?' So far he always gives me a sensible response.

| The rate that Caitlin is learning new words is shocking me! I didnt believe others when they said their LO literally just started talking at 22 months. This weeks new words include sweets, rain, post, sleep, sun, star, chin, eyebrow, butter, ham, toast, strawberry, pyjama's, clothes, dora, pig, jump, bounce, shower, bath .... When pointing at things she will say 'a' in front of the word eg a baby, a pram, a car. I can also understand mini sentences eg 'nanny car blue' , 'daddys away to work' 'yes please' 'mummy look its rain' 'man go away' 'sit look at book' She does still babble utter rubbish a lot of the time but usually you can pick out one proper word in what she is saying and guess what she means. |
