Has any one's little one's had a reaction after eating honey?

I gave Niamh honey in her breakfast for the first time last week, the same day I went to the consultants and she vomited all over the car and the waiting room at the hospital about a couple of hours after her breakfast.

I gave her some again in her breakfast this morning and she has been sick again, she's completely emptied her stomach again. it was different honey today, tesco's own brand squeezy honey, last week it was a local honey I'd bought in a farm shop.

I know about botulism, but vomiting isn't a symptom of this, and the reaction is almost instant rather than delayed.

I don't think she's ill (she's alert and has no temprature) and I know she hasn't had any dairy or soya (which she is alergic too) so all I can think is it is honey, but then I can't really find any info on Honey causing an instant vomiting reeaction, so I was just wondering if anyone elses little one's had had any kind of reaction to it?

No we havent had any, I waited til well after a year and now she eats it straight from the pot given half a chance

It is odd though like you say doesn't sound at all like botulism

I waited until Jack was nearly 2 and he had bad diareah (sp) for a week after.
