alfie still wears a vest under his tops and i was just wondering wat age you stopped putting one on ure lo?? i dont even know wat the purpose of them are tbh -to keep nappy in place??!!! they make things extra awakward at bum changes x

I was just thinking this yesterday.... they stop Arwyn messing with her nappy but sometimes they don't look good under her clothes

H still wears vests. I like them as they keep nappy in place, protect clothes if nappy leaks and stops nappy gaping at back x

oliver still wears them most of the time, an extra layer to keep them warm, stop nappy from being dragged down by their jeans, errrm i dunno lol i just still put them on him, although in the warmer weather i dont bother x i still have some vests of leo's aged 18-24months ill probibly stop when hes potty traning x

Tayla hasnt worn them since winter and only then it was under pjs to keep her warm. Have no probs with keeping her nappy in place x

Rowan still wears a vest. but not if its too hot. I hate the saggy nappy look! keeps the nappy in place and stops him from ripping it off

Caitlin still wears hers. Though when its hot she doesnt. They def keep nappies in place but as Caitlin more prone to leak or have saggy bum in leggings if she doesnt wear a vest.

Iv bought her proper little girl vests to wear when potty training with pants. I can remember wearing vests until I was 6/7, particularly under school shirts. So I think in general they can be in primary before they dont wear them. I imagine for 9 months of the year they would keep you pretty cosy too!

Andrew stopped wearing the popper ones when last summer, he didnt need them in summer and then he was 2 and they stop at 18-24 months... I put the little boys vests without the poppers on him in the winter, they are an extra layer.

Sophie will probs stop wearing them soon when the warmer weather starts and then will move onto big girl vests.

The popper ones are good when they are small in my opinion because they keep their back and tummy covered if their clothes rise up but to be honest it is much easier with the little boys vests with nappy changes!

I think they're great for keeping the nappy in place. But in warm weather and on hols ellie doesn't wear a vest but has frilly knickers with dresses or her pants keep her nappy in place.

I like vests and when she's out of nappies I'll get pretty little girl vests that don't fasten underneath.

eli still wears a vest, sometimes long sleeved under a t-shirt or short sleeved under a top, i dunno if the 'one layer more than you are wearing' rule still applies but it does keep him cosy and means at least one item of clothing occasionally lasts all day haha

I wanted to keep Oliver in 'full' vests as it stopped him pulling his nappy off, but it was making his nappies leek as the vest was putting pressure on the nappy (Reusable nappy).

Its completely upto you, obviously when they are potty training they won't want a 'full' vest.

We stopped with full vest when he was 2yrs and potty trained

Izzy wears a a big girl vest (not the poppered ones) when it isn't very warm. Like tonight she has one under her nightie

The last poppered ones I bought were 18-24 but they didnt fit til 2!

Harry still wears a vest and will do till he grows out of them cos he looks so cute in them lol plus keeps him warm. So when hes 2 i'm gonna buy vests for under his tops cos like nicki I wore them at school till I was 7 or something xx

good point about the big girl/boy vests, leo wore them till about 4 if it was chilly...they sell them up to about 12 yrs i think, hmm forgot about them, ill invest in some for next winter me thinks lol x

I still wear a vest!!!!!!!! LMAO!!!

I always wear a little vest under my clothes. I always feel like I'm gonna show my belly without one or something!!!! Plus sometimes I wear a long one, that's a size smaller, it helps hold my tummy in a bit!!

Wil wore big boy vests last winter and will again next winter although I will probably get him the tshirt type ones his dad wears.

I think the last popper vests he wore were 9-12 months so he would be no more than 10 months. About the time he started crawling would have been when I stopped because it was hard enough to keep him still to put the nappy on let alone a vest

Iv just remembered I probably wore vests until 8 actually and then crop tops until I got my 1st bra at 12 or so. I think it was more to cover your nips under your school shirt, or when getting changed for PE at school you are self concious.

I had forgot about crop tops completely! Maybe boys stop wearing vest sooner as they dont have boob issues to learn to deal with!

both of mine still wear them on occassion, usually in winter, but they generally stopped wearing them all the time at about a year

the vests help with nappy chaos!!! we fasten a popper over eli's shoulder and it keeps everything out the way :lol; but then we do change his nappies standing up

I judge it on the weather, its been really warm lately so I haven't bothered with one.

i think he wore them till abotu 2 when i went onto short boy vests when we potty trained, and he wore them till he started school and could dress himself, and he doesnt wear them now.

and if i mention one now i get rolled eyes.

my two have big kid vests for winter but as for poppered ones, they have worn them since they were around 9 months old x

Depends on the weather, if its cold Lilly goes in a sleeveless vest ( not the popper ones)
