Took Awen to clinic today and shes gained 8.5 ounces this week
thats a pound in a fortnight after only 9oz in the 3 weeks before that. Shes now 9lb 10oz. Im gonna check her next week but if shes back to gaining well and back on her line i can go back to monthly weigh ins. They are very pleased. Went back to my gp today cos the gaviscons reduced the vomiting but not the pain from the reflux. Shes doubled up the gaviscon and started her on ranitidine. I have to go back in a month but im hapy thats gonna knock it on the head nicely
And went to caelyns new pre school today to look around. It looks fantastic. They have an arts and craft area and a play home and a computer as well as lots of indoor and outdoor toys. The staff seem great with the kids and pay them lots of attention. They said they work with parents on potty training etc and have little dinky sized toilets (how odd is it this impresses me). After all of about 90 seconds C seemed to have forgotten me and was off playing. Apparently their interim ofsted report they bwere upgraded from good to outstanding so im really taken by it and filled in registration papers on the spot. They liked C too and were happy with how she socialised. The lady who ran it said shes currently running 2 year old sessions but she wants to start some sessions where 2 year olds who are able to do so and would benfit from it go into the 3 year olds classes and says she thinks C is very advanced for her age and would gain more from the big class so she should go into that and was i happy. I said yes as i think it would stimulate her and bring her on well esp with things like potty trainin and be good for her social skills.
So just waiting for a place. Am so excitted i hope it doesnt take too long. She will be doing 2 sessions of 3 hours each for 12 pound a week
