Our cat is missing _
PostSubject: Our cat is missing   Our cat is missing EmptyThu Jun 16, 2011 10:25 pm

What do I do? I've been out looking for him. He's 9 years old now, has bowel problems (basically he can only eat certain things or he becomes unwell and sick)

I've put him on the missing pets register but I think someone has taken him.

I know I said about getting rid of him, but that desin was not made and would be made after I had the baby and he'd go to someone who knew about his health.

Who ever has taken could be killing him un knowingly.

What do I do? I've no money to make flyers until next week. We live in a block of 6 flats with others around us. Whom ever has him has him locked in as he loves going out side.

I don't know what else to do. Both OH and I keep looking out side for him, even keep going to the window and calling him, looking in and around the flats etc even the park but nothing.

Why do you think he's been taken? Maybe he's got lost, you've not been in your new place that long.
I would knock on the doors of your neighbours in your block and ask if they've seen him. Can you print off some posters from home? I really hope he shows up x

He's defiantly been taken or worse he's died.

I dont think he's lost because he was always waiting when we got home, he follows us tot he park and gets back and has even walked the block and further with us and still got back.

I really think someone's taken him, just wish i still had the number of that women who asked if he had a home

Without wanting to upset you, if he is poorly then it's possible that he has died, cats usually go away from the home.

Do you have a photo of him. If you make up a flyer in word and email it over to me, I'll print some off for you, I'm at Frimley hospital tomorrow so could drop them off x

Thats what i was thinking too Mandy. That he may have died, but he seemed fine Saturday. He wanted to go out so i let him out when I went to pick Trev up, then usually he'd be there waiting when we got back to come back in, but he wernt. Trev went back down at 8pm to get him no sign of him. I went down Sunday morning, afternoon etc still nothing.

I've just spoken to Trev, he says he'll print some off at work so i can take them out tonight and tomorrow.

I'm waiting on the lady at the bottom across from us as i've seen him try to get into her place but she's not been around the last 2 days so not been able to ask her.

Its highly likely that he has managed to get himself locked in a garage or shed and somebody doesnt know he is there.

Knock on all of the doors on the flats and ask them to check, then pop flyers in all of the neighbours in the street so they can check.

Also, if you have kids living near you, offer them a £5 reward if they can find him - they will go searching high and low for you.

Thast a good iidea BUT only if you kinda know the kids/their parents. Id crap myself that the kids would wonder too far from home/get hurt looking for the cat and Id end up with an angry parent on my door wanting to know what I was playing at encouraging their child to take risks looking for a cat.

Really hope he turns up safe x

Hi

Our cat got lost last year and was lost for two days.

i rang round all the cats protections/rspca's and i rang the police too lol they were very helpful Smile

i made my own flyers and put them through letterboxes of the houses surrounding mine. she just turned up, very hungry so I'm convinced she'd been locked in someones shed.

Hope he turns up soon

x

My cat went missing in Feb, he's 14 so thought he'd gone to "sleep" I had a recent picture made a lost poster, with name description and my number. I put on there to check sheds garages etc. If they saw a cat even similar alive or otherwise. Gaffer taped to every lamppost for about half a mile around my house. 7 days after he went I got a call he was quite local. I had about 5 sightings phoned through. I got him back you will too !!

Good luck xx
