Libby had her taster day at pre school today, she has never been left apart from the few hours when Dexter was born.

We got there and she went straight in and started playing, we stood there for a few mins talking to the head and she didnt look at us once, we then said goodbye and gave her a kiss - told her we would be back soon to pick her up, she wasnt bothered and carried on playing

We then went in the hall to continue talking to the head, they've got windows into the classroom so I had a sneaky peek and she was sat at one of the tables chatting away to the other children in a fairy dress playing with play doh I could of cried, she looks so sweet.

We left her there for the session which is 2.5 hours, when we picked her up they were playing outside, she glanced at us and again carried on playing The helpers told us she had been an absolute pleasure, as good as gold, no tears and didnt ask for us once, she didnt want to come home either!!

Shes going again in a few weeks before starting properly in september but I'm so proud of her, and so pleased she enjoyed herself.

Awww, im so pleased it went well.

Aimee has her afternoon taster on 13th July (I think) before she starts in September. I hope it goes as well.

My eldest was like that, when I used to collect her she used to hold on to lady and cry and say DONT LET HER TAKE ME HOME!! I used to get sooo embarrased.

She's been going on and on about what she did in 'school' all day

I am really relieved, was so worried about leaving her and how she would, mainly that she would notice us not there and keep asking for us.

I'm really excited for her to go regularly, it'll be so good for her (and me ).
