Some of you may remember me posting about signing up with someone that helps people with difficulty getting back into work. This may be medical problems, ex cons etc...
Well I got through the initial interview and got accepted onto the induction course.
There were 13 of us in the group and only 10 of us would be able to go through to being put into a placement and do the NVQ 2 in care.
We did lots of getting to know eachother and basic skills tests and on the last day we had a team building day - which included archery at the end, which I did 2 shots and had to stop because of my shoulder - but I got really involved and overcame barriers about being with new people.
I got through to the next stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I also made some fab new friends who live down the road.
I am so so so so happy
I will be doing the placement part time and will be getting paid min wage every week. I am so proud that I will actually be able to settle into a career and make Flick proud of her Mummy
