sounds really sad of me but i got paid for the first time from this job yesterday and it felt really good

I have never in my life had anything more then 700 in my bank at one time and getting over 1k in my bank and being able to go do a load of xmas shopping made me feel quite proud of myself lol =op

I feel the same! I got £2k BUT for the last 3 months iv been taxed wrong so a chunk of that was to make up for getting too little since Aug. Its a nice feeling that you earnt it and dont have to worry about money for a while.... my only prob is that was my last pay so better make it last!

Oh actually i'l get my OT and sleep in's at end of Dec... maybe I dont need to be too sensible

heyy same for me to.. altho i dont get paid till next friday! but that will be my 1st proper pay cheque! i cannot wait to go get the xmas shoppin done but i think i will only be gettin around £400 as only been there 3 weeks part time! but even still i feel super proud of myself for how many extra hours ive been puttin in so my family can have a good xmas (and jamie have a good 2nd birthday) x x x

you should be proud of yourself for earning all that money yourself, i miss having my own money. Being a kept women does have its plus side but there nothing better than the satisfaction of supporting yoursef, Ive worked through my 2 eldest children its only been since getting pg with my youngest that ive not worked. Was going to be going back to work in the new year, thats if i hadnt got caught again. But nope my lil bean has other plans xx

i am mostly enjoying it, some bits are quite scary lol, its very tiring too but i think its going to be much better when i get used to it. Think i will enjoy it more when i get rid of my back problem!

Well i've spent most the extra on xmas stuff lol, i was quite chuffed i got 1400 for 5 weeks, its not loads but its loads for me lol!
