My mum is picking something up for me, it's 27miles from her house. How much money should i give her for petrol? When I spoke to her she just said send me the petrol money but didn't give me an amount, don't want to give her too little but don't want to be paying loads either.

If you know the rough address of where she's going, you can go on google maps and get directions and it gives you an estimated fuel cost if that's any help xx

Why did you mention that?! Iv been looking up all different addresses, seeing how much visiting inlaws is costing me and complaining to OH at the money Im wasting

A day trip to the seaside costs us £13 in petrol before we start. Id never have guessed it would be that much!

I told my hubby about this (as think Its dead clever) and he said oh yer it was created for women as men just work it out in their heads based on how many miles per gallon you get etc!! What a cheeky hit eh?!?

Anyway shell, he asked what car your mum had so I said a fiesta (just a guess) and he worked out at about £5 each way. I hope you used google and I hope my oh is wrong!

Matt had exactly the same response! Said he didn't need to bother with using those things. He wasn't here when I needed to know tho!
