Ahh As you will see I've listed some of Alyssa's clothes on FB...they are all newborn and given the fact she is just short of 2 months old now they no longer fit her. But the amount of people that keep saying why are you selling them is unbelievable....there making me feel like I'm doing something wrong!

The reason I'm selling them is that she doesn't fit them anymore, I haven't got space to store them and also I won't be having another baby for a few years because I need to give my body a rest.

You are not doing anything wrong!
If you want to sell them thats your business!! When I started getting rid of Flicks newborn things people were shocked and they assumed we would have another baby which we won't. Not yet anyways so whats the point in taking up all that space in the house? xxxx

It makes more sense to sell them than keep them if you haven't got the space to store them, and i think you're doing a lovely thing by letting other people enjoy them, rather than keeping them stuck in a box for years!

you could maybe revise it and state on them that she has grown out of them thats why your selling might stop some of the questions lol
but no you are not doing anything wrong you have no room so why keep them xx

We had the same when we got rid of Libby's things, in hindsight it would of been nice to of kept the pram, crib, cot etc.. but clothes obviously would of been no use to us.

No its not wrong. We kept a couple of Jamie's things (like the clothes he came home in) but got rid of everything else

Luckily i wasnt motivated enough to get rid of c's clothes so they have come in handy now but i wouldnt listen, if you dont have a need of then and room to store them then shift em on, just be aware if you are planning more and can store em it is handy to hwve them

I kept the first vest she wore, first sleepysuit and the favourite mittens plus a few absolute favourite outfits and the first shoes of course. The rest got parcelled up and handed over to my sister on her baby shower.

It's a bit mad that people could be so rude as to question your reason for selling things that you're not going to want any more, and surely someone will benefit from getting things second hand for less than they would pay for new - it's a hard time on the old finances!

It sounds to me like people are just being nosey and want to know if you are planning on having more.

You are not doing anything wrong, its your right to sell them if you want, just ignore them.

Glad you all think the same as me, I would have loved to have another at some point next year, but with everything that has happened I need to give my body plenty of time to recover without jumping in the deep end lol! So we have decided that we will wait until Alyssa is about 2 or 3 xx

we gave away all of alfies clothes too hun. we have no space to store them and will prob like new next time anyways. we only kept some of his nicer outfits and his coming home outfit etc x
