Why is I get really anxious when I'm on my own at night with the kids. Oh is on nights this weekend so am on my own. Boys are in bed but I really don't like it being alone. I keep thinking something is going to happen or one of the boys gets ill and oh isn't here to help me. I feel stupid really, and oh feels guilty leaving me.

im a bit like that. i feel inadequate like i cant cope on my own. but i ow i can cos i do it all day every day and have done for 9 months!! its perfectly normal i wud say x

Amanda i feel exactly the same, I used to get such bad anxiety when we lived i Cyprus and Luke worked nights. I would leave every light on, jump at the slightest noise and couldnt ever sleep! I also had the added worry of cockroaches and spiders. When Tayla came along i was even worse, i kept thing what if something happened to her all the time, as there is no ambulances or even a decent 999 just the 112 number! Also street names didnt even exist where we lived!
Does ur OH do night often?
