But I think Facebook has killed this website and to be really honest I get quite annoyed by it.

Next to no one really posts here anymore, maybe I'm being a bit bitter about the whole thing but I had my 20 week scan a few weeks ago and didn't see the point in posting about it.

We use to have a very close knit community and now I dOnt see it at all.

I can't remember the last time quite a few people posted, it's a shame because I actually wonder how everyone is getting on.

It is a bit quiet on here at the mo but I'm sure people just have other things on and will be back. There's still a group of us that post here regularly

I very rarely get on here now..what with a very very active almost 3 yr old, studying, working and school runs.

I am on Facebook and do chat to the girls on there as its an app on my phone and easily accessible.. Why wont you come onto fb even if only to have Banda girls?.. I know not every one agrees with Facebook and I'm by no means saying you should have it lol..

The thing is I don't see why I should have to get a Facebook account, Banda was never as I understood it ment to be second to a Facebook group?
I dont even see Lisa post here much anymore and this was her baby! I don't know who does go on there obviously as I'm not there, but I get the impression most people have given up on here.
People never had a problem being in contact via the website before, so the whole it's easier on Facebook doesn't really seem like a valid reason well to me anyway!

No you're. completely right Kell. Most are on Facebook chat group and as a result banda has died a death. FB is just easier to navigate on the phone then here. I do come here most days but theres never any new posts and any I put up don't get replied to so I tend not to really bother much now x

I can't navigate on my phone, I don't usually have the laptop during the day and by evening I can't be bothered once James has done his work .. I can't answer for anyone else but like I said today is a rare treat to have the laptop here. Our main computer is tucked away upstairs and with the children running about I would love to, but couldn't practically go and sit up there.

Facebook is a much more useful to me as all my friends are in there so I can switch bcd and forth and as I said very user friendly on the go etc.

I do agree, Ok I am one to talk as I dont come on here as much. but having 2 LOs I dont get time to turn on the laptop! :0(when I was pregnant or when Hollie was a baby I had more time, now both runnign around.

Im on my phone all the time its easier to pop on when eating lunch or having a 2min sit down.

I think its sad that banda is dyin and those without FB I can see how you'd miss things going on over on FB. If there was an banda ap for the phone guess we'd come on more often.

Kell, I made a very similar post a few weeks ago as I was really lonely posting here alone. Im not a fan of fb but do use it for Banda. I don't see it as having a fb account (though obviously I have) it's just for Banda and nothing else. It's great and is the just was Banda used to be with loads of posts and teenyweeny bit of bitching :-) its great I'm glad I took the plunge. My family and rl friends dont even know I have it. I'd love it you and the other non fb'ers joined. But if not I'll always check here daily anyway as I'd never want to lose touch with our September 09 mummies xxxx

Pen Unfortunatly I couldn't join, me and jody have both come off because of all the problems that happened for us, been off it for two years now.
My relationship has never been better than it is now and I just couldn't have a fb account behind his back.
I'd feel guilty and dishonest, and I know regardless of what I used it for it would have a very negative effect on us.
As much as I love the Banda girls it's just not something I can risk.

The forum has gone very quiet. i know Alot of people do use fb me being one of them but also Alot of people have been.busy. i hardly get time to go on my laptop theses days Im so busy with the kids n when they go to bed i.just flop on the sofa n watch telly.

Im going to try n get on more. at the end of the day this is banda. where banda started a great forum and great people! come on every one!!

I do get on here every day but there are very rarely any new posts and when I post there is't much response but I do try to post as much as I can on here.

I do think we should all try and make more of an effort to use the forum - it isn't hard to use it on a phone anyway I know it's not as easy as facebook but it's still pretty simple!

They're not on banda chat either on fb. I do think some people have just moved on a bit as they have older kids and don't have the time.

I agree with some of the others. I'm on here every day (I tend to check quickly when I'm free at work) and answer to what posts there are but, as that isn't many, go. I guess as well that when I do post it doesn't get many responses so tend to post elsewhere. I guess I'll have to try and make an effort to start more topics so there are more posts for people to answer to

Yes it has gone very quiet and it is a shame. This conversation has been had a few times on here and there are lots of reasons why it has gone quiet. It ultimately down to each member to either make an effort or not. I really hope banda does pick up again but I hate to say that the fb page is busier. Without poking my nose in Kell, why can't you re-join fb? xx

ive noticed its very quiet too, im just far too busy to post although i do nosey atleast once a day.. usually when im tucked up in bed and ready for sleep.
ive even started having a nosey on AB, something i NEVER EVER thought id ever find myself doing again.

I think a lot of us have moved on from Banda.

It's really sad as there was potential for a nice community here. I feel that there were a few incidents over the past year of some people being quite ignorant and disrespectful toward each other.

Unfortunately when I joined facebook, I found that this was more widespread than it seemed. I have been disappointed and disgusted in the way some of the people from banda have chosen to conduct themselves. Despite it being away from here, it has certainly helped me to decide that I will not be back.

I will miss some of you, but I am in contact with those I felt close to.

Mari that's a real shame, I actually miss hearing how Elijah and you are doing.

Im completly oblivious to all the shit that goes on, that is one of the perks of not having fb for me!

Don't get me wrong I am as busy as the next person, college, kids, decorating, puppies, cleaning, cooking oh and being pregnant. Add into the mix I've just finished working. So I appreciate busy, and also people having different things going on.
I suppose I thought even with our evolving lives we'd still want to catch up. But then again I guess everyone else is, so maybe I just should shut up and accept I'm outta the loop!

it has gone quiet but I agree that fb is easier its an app so i dont need to wait forever for it to load on my phone then navigate about and wait an age to actually read the post let alone reply to it, I do think its a bit harsh saying that people were disrespectful and ignorant, i have only seen posts like that towards people that have been caught out lying, been slating other members or there is another valid and strong reason. and the reason that that has happened is because of the fact it is a community and generally if you upset one in a big way then you upset a whole pack of people.

I think there's still a community feel. There may be falling outs and I know sometimes people post things in the heat of the moment but I know that when I did something stupid a few weeks ago everyone was there for me whereas I've lost 'real life' friends over it

Ok I can see what you mean liberty, but because I'm not on fb I don't feel like part of that community. I literally have no idea what you are talking about when you say that.

Basically it just boils down to me being hormonal and feeling like an outsider now, it wasn't that long ago that all posting happened on here and fb Banda didn't exist.

Aww Kell I feel really bad about your 20 week scan.. If you want to tell us i would love to hear about it! Although if you make me feel broody i won't b held responsible for my actions! My 2 are doing fine, Milo is getting funnier the older he gets, and is such a great big brother, and Noah is 8 months already - and has gone from being a fantastic sleeper to a baby that rejects sleep on a daily basis! So I'm exhausted but hanging in there with my zombie face

How's Charlie feeling about being a big brother? Milo didn't really get it until Noah was born, but as soon as he saw him he said "Oh, that's baby Noah" without being introduced formally (handshakes and all, haha) so he must have figured it out!
