| You're all probably sick of reading about my down below issues but got another problem.. or two I've had a lot of discharge this pregnancy, but it seems to be getting worse. I'm wearing panty liners and using quite a few in the day, whats coming out is like snot, slightly green and really mucus-y. I don't remember this from first pregnancy, it was just average discharge. Is this normal? Or infection (altho mw checked my wee for infection thurs and everything was fine). I thought i had thrush but tbh I don't know if it is, as its not like when i've had thrush before, it's just painful and sore down there. Only other thought was plug? Am i right in thinking that can slowly come out? but I thought that was later.. Other issue is last two days as well as discharge the pad is just really wet. Not pee! When I was pregnant with Immi 32wks i got a tear in my waters and pads were filled with water, i went to hospital and nearly went into labour but drugs managed to stop it. I'm worried this is the same thing but don't know if i'm jumping to conclusions cause of what happened before. It might just be the discharge making it wet or sweat..? Should i call mw/hospital?! I'm one of those people that hate calling/wasting peoples time if i don't need to. thanks if anyone has any advice x |

| Not sure about waters/infection/thrush... but just wanted to say I was nearly going to post about my discharge too. Its also snot/jelly like and like a white/green/yellow tinge to it at times. Its been like that on and off for weeks now. Usually its worse 1st thing in morning when I wipe, if I look at paper its like iv blew my nose in it. Iv wondered about infection (iv no other symptoms but), and also my plug (not coming away, maybe just refreshing itself if thats possible? ) Im not sore, itchy, or smelly so im not too worried atm. Im going to mention it to midwife when I next see her but im not panicking just yet. Just wanted to let you know you not alone with your snotty knickers! |

| christ you're 31 weeks already!!! i would give mw's a ring, if they don't want to see you, get a g.p appointment on monday and get checked out as the pains been going on a while. i used liners when i was pregnant with elijah but it was never large amounts of mucous until right at the end (more like plug) so that sounds like there may be some infection there.
i really think you should ring and get some advice - you would never be able to forgive yourself if you didn't and something was going on x |

| ah you poor thing, I can understand why that would be a worry! i wasn't too bad with Milo, but I've had loads of discharge with this one, kind of like you described although not greenish, just kind of yellowish. It went through stages of being really heavy, now it's hardly anything..but next week it might be heavy again - however I haven't really felt sore so not sure if it's the same thing? I mentioned mine to my midwife and she said if there wasn't any blood or pain it should be ok, but if it's bothering you and getting sore it might be worth getting it checked out just for peace of mind - especially if they can help you feel better, you won't be wasting their time, it's what they're there for! If we didn't have loads of questions to ask them, they'd be sitting around bored all day so you'll be doing them a favour by calling |

| Thanks for replying ladies. I'm thinking the discharge is probably normal then. I was just lucky with Immi it wasn't so bad. I'm going to give the water situation a couple of days to moniter as this is what i was told to do when it happened in first preg, then i'll give day unit a call and get checked out. |

| Hi, I have had grren discharge and was alarmed at 1st but mw said as long as it does not smell offensively then its normal but if it starts smelling it could be an infection. I have also had watery discharge, I am quite often wet from discharge x |

| I had greenish discharge with Tyler but I never mentioned it to my doc cos he's a man and would want to look lol plus they over react over here he probably would have sent me to all sorts of specialists but once i wasn't pregnant it went so figured it was just normal |

| Pretty sure the water is just part of the discharge so not calling mw or anything. Some aspects of pregnancy really arent pretty are they. |

| I'm not sure green is a good colour but if no smell then infection is unlikely. I had a really thick discharge post natally that turned out to be group B strep though, which is important if your waters break prior to labour. But you say it's not thick so it's unlikely to be that
Sorry that was no help at all! |
