Do them while she sleeps....or if not bring her to meet Tayla and she will teach her how to pick and chew them off I havnt had to cut hers for over a year!

I make Matt do it cause i'm too scared i'll cut her. We wait till she's really engrossed in a show or film and all sit cuddled on the sofa, then Matt does it quick as he can. Normally if she's really into the tv we can get it done with minimal fuss.

We play beauticians and lily has cotton wool and a nail file to hold and mess with while i do her toes. Then we pretend to put nail varnish on which she likes so is the incentive for her to keep still!

i usually wait til eli is asleep - if he is napping on me on the couch i have a secret pair of baby scissors hidden so i can get his nails done haha

alfies kinda just peels off still?? i havent had to cut them off in ages and dont seem long. hmmmmm i wonder where they go????

i used to do it when lilly was asleep when she was smaller but she doesnt mind now, like kate has said give her something to hold and pretend with as it might help! xxx
