hey ladies, as you know i have pain in my left ovary area...well today i've woken up feeling really really really sick, and light headed. I have also got pain in my pelvis and my left knee is swollen and i can barely move it...i haven't done any exercise (obviously) or banged my knee...it was fine last night when i went to bed...could these be connected somehow?? what should i do?? i can't go to a+e as OH is at work and can't leave (already rang him, there's NOONE to cover his shift, as everyone else was on a work night out last night!! ) and my poor mother has had to rush off to coventry to say goodbye to her uncle (he has about 24 hours left- dying of cancer of the spine/brain ) i'm struggling with looking after benji, bless him he wants to be up and about, and i just can't do it. I can't stand the pain in my knee now, it's actually worse than my ovary pain...also keep getting pins/needles in my left leg too...and a whooshing feeling in my foot (iykwim??)
there is literally NOONE else to ask to come to a+e with me, and i am not taking benji with me, as we'd be there for about 6-8hours. So fed up, i thought taking codeine would give me a little relief...all it's doing is adding to making me feel sick
any advice other than go to hossy??

anyone?? im feelinv v sick is there anything you's can think of why my knee woulod've swelled up n be painful??? i've taken 2 codeine this morning and all they're doing is making me feel more n more sicky

Lou you need to get yourself to walk in docs or even hossy, I'm sorry I don't know if its connected but it sounds like you in a bad way and need to see someone! Wish I could help hun but I'm too far away x

i would give nhs 24 a ring and they might offer a doctors visit or a clinic time so you arent left hanging around for too long

you need.to.go.to the.hospital if.its that bad. I've had to take.paige with me to the walk in and a&e a few.times and she has been okay been though its had a long.wait x

It sounds a bit like sciatica to me hun, i have had it and its painful in the groin area and effects your leg. i would take benji too it should be quiet on a sunday

I'm only going to echo what the other ladies have said Lou and if it's as painful as you say it is then you really need to go to a and e, they have a 4 hour rule and if they haven't either admitted or discharged you by that time they get fined by the government xx

how long have you had the pains in your ovaries? just i had soemthing similar a couple of weeks ago, it turned out to be a nasty virus causing the pains, a couple more people had oit too and causes horrible symptoms like sickness...it lasted over a week and was soo painfil its was unbelievable!! although doesnt explain the knee :/ all you can do is get it checked...hope its sorted soon xx

Said on FB an hr or 2 ago that her dad was dropping her down. Duno if he was keeping Benji but she was going to wait in A&E on her own which I dont think she is happy about.
