I seem to have found nothing but annoying people while at the shops today.

Went into Thorntons which has a really heavy door so hard to get in with the pushchair. I was struggling but two people were standing behind me whingeing about how long it was taking me. They could have just held the door open and then it would have been fine.

One old women was cooing over Jamie and then said 'his stupid isn't he? He can't say anything'. I said of course not his 7 months old and she just kind of went oh. Now admittedly Jamie looks a bit like a toddler but why would you say that to anyone? You have no idea why they might not be talking.

Finally I was in the queue in Iceland and two old women behind me were whingeing about the state of the world today. One turned to me and went its single mums like you. You have a baby to get a council house and the sponge off the state for the rest of your life. I'd had enough by this point so I did snap back. I pointed out that it was none of her business and there was nothing wrong with single mums. However, I'd been married 6 years, owned my own house and had never claimed benefits in my life

Holy crap why would people make assumptions about whether some is a single mum or not - not that it even blinking well matters! Id ask them how many days work they did in their lives and I bet they have no problem in claiming the state pension/taking winter fuel payments - stupid old farts!

OMG thats awful - I was going to say the same snoops about these old folk growing old and daring to draw a pension and then living too long are the cause of all of our problems!! Cheeky gits!!!

I think elderly english people are VERY rude actually. Particularly the older english expats in Cyprus, they are by far the rudest people I encounter on a daily basis!!

As for them assuming you are a single mother, what right do they have to comment on anybody they have no idea about. I actually am not wearing my wedding ring at the moment as its a bit tight (due to being pg). People probably look at me and think 'omg, single mum, 2 young kids and pregnant again...tut' - im just waiting for some sucker to say it to me!

Lat christmas we were looking at decorations with my mum and these old people came up to callums face talking and he covered his face and they got up and told me how rude he was cheeky bints.

in fact i was once ask to leave debenhams down south because an old biddy said the wrong thing about rich, it was the time he was being diagnosed with his issues and i was blaming myself, i kind of lost it when she muttered about his behaviour and told her how i felt,

i actually felt great later, but wont be going to that debenhams again lol
