| Well been to the doctors.
I've got to have a scan on my gallbladder, which he has sent off to the hospital. I've got to go for bloods tomorrow. He thinks i have a gallbladder infection and due to the area of pain wants to check its not spread to my pancreas.
He said he wants to see me again in 7-10 days so I'm assuming I would have had my scan by then.
He's put me Erthromycin antibiotics, Alverine Citrate pain killers (I hope theses work) and Omeprazole anti acids (which is supposed to be stronger then the ones the hospital prescribed me)
I'm just hoping it's just an infection and nothing else.
I can not eat any that is greasy, fried or oily. I'm having trouble eating anyway because of the pain so no problem there. |

| My mum had a gallbladder prob, and she said the pain went from the front (inbetween her boobs, but a bit lower iykwim) right through to her back....is this the same?
Yes omeprazole are great at reducing acid in the stomach, so should give you some relief...and pick your foods wisely until your scan.
Hope you feel better, and get some answers soon xxx |

The meds seem to have done some tricks but can still feel it. I've not payed down yet which is when it hurts (extra pressure when i lay down)
I've managed to eat a little and dear god can I feel it all as it goes down.
But I managed to eat a small chicken breast, 2 pieces of broccoli and 2 small new potatoes.
I just hope Im earig the right things |

| Mainly fatty foods etc but there other things nut's certain veg tbh it's ridiculous what you can't have while you have an infection anyway i could eat food's grilled etc what would be fatty fried but not whilst i had an infection does sound like gall bladder problem's though. I also started with it a few week's after birth but my doc fobbed me off saying it was muscle pain even though i'd been up all night crying in agony having bath's etc to try and ease the pain it wasn't until i had an attack ( pain was horrendous thought i was dying honestly sorry not trying to scare you )and was took to a&e i knew what it was had a gall bladder infection at the time so the pain was worse. Hope your better soon though hun i was probably just one of the unlucky one's that got every infection with gall stones hope your getting lot's of help and support with the kid's xxx |

| The pain was really bad for me Thursday to yesterday feeling better today after the second lot of mess though i can still feel it and it's worse when I lay down.
Were you vomiting with yours? I did thurs to fri. Thursday night I had about 4 baths and found it more comfortable well not comfortable when I sat with one leg crossed on the bed the other foot on the floor then leaned over the crossed leg and tried to lay flat as I could. It would give me about 10 were I could bare the pain.
The pain down my right side has gone hopefully .
Did you also cough A lot when talking or taking deep breaths. Dr said it's a symptom too |

| Yes i was forever vomiting i lost over a stone from being sick etc. Can't remember the coughing though so if i was it can't of been enough for me to notice tbh though i think for however long you have gallstones you will be uncomfortable hurt's to eat etc although the pain will be much worse with an infection even now after i have had my gallbladder removed it's still uncomfortable occasionally just in general though not eating etc . Sound's like the med's have helped though so hopefully it's clearing up any infection so it doesn't worsen tbh i found most painkiller's didn't work. |

| Gemz - did you find that if you layed on your right side the pain got worse? The pain killers are helping. I can still feel it though so they have just dulled the pain but I turned during the night to lay on my right side and I could just feel it More. Did you have this? |
