| We have been dreamfeeding Alyssa since she was tiny and she has been sleeping through, but that dreamfeed is currently sitting at about 11.30pm so im knackered by then, she drinks between 6 and 7oz per feed and has 5 feeds a day, do you think it would be ok if i missed out that 5th feed tonight in the hope she wakes up for a feed earlier in the morning making that last feed earlier on a night? |

| I didn't drop my boys last feeds till they were about 7m and established on solids as they would wake early in morning hungry and then wouldn't eat breakfast. What time does she get her morning bottle? Does she drink it all? Why not try moving feed back a bit every night till you get to 10.30pm, this is the time I used to feed mine. X |

| I would drop it mine went down to 4 bottles at around 3 months but try making the remaining bottles slightly bigger and try and space them out a bit more so the last bottle is at half eight or something? if it doesnt work you can always start the last bottle again xx |

| She doesn't wake until around 9am on a morning and then she doesn't drink all the bottle in one go, I was thinking that if I don't dreamfeed her tonight then hopefully she will wake at like 5am or something and then it means we can get her feeds in before her bedtime instead of me waiting up, as when Matt was here it wasn't too bad as we could alternate it, but now im on my own its me that has to wait up everynight and when your on your own its tiring. xx |

| Oh well done. I'm trying to get H in bed by 8pm and it's just not working. I feel she's too young to lay down and let cry and I'm having to rock her to sleep in the evening as she's so wide awake or cranky |

| I dreamfed C til about 6 months I think, Awen i stopped ages ago cos BFing and dreamfeeding is not an easy combo! I tried and it didnt work so I just let her do her own thing. Shes still hit and miss some days she goes 7-6 others 7-4 so i think if i was bottlefeeding id def be dreamfeeding. If its working for you to stop thats fab but if she starts waking might be worth going back to it esp as shes draining bottles, when i stopped with c she was down to a cpl ounces only. You could always do it at 10? I actually loved dreamfeed anyway as it was quiet snuggle time |

| When I dropped Lily's this is what I did:
I carried on with all other bottles the same, as it was the dreamfeed that I wanted to stop, not the others. So, I started to bring forward the dreamfeed by 15 minutes every 2 to 3 days. I did this until it got to 9pm, and by then, it was so close to her bedtime bottle (7pm), that I started to then drop the quantity of the bottle too.
So, every 2 to 3 days, drop 15 mins.
When you get down to 9pm, start dropping 1 oz every 2 days. Then you should be done in a couple of weeks.
It worked a treat with Lily. xx |
