Has anyone been to the Big Apple and can recommend any nice hotels. We are heading next month and would like a nice not overly expense hotel as my lovely hubby is paying for us both as a special birthday treat for me.

I went a few years back for my 21st mum and dad took me and my ex! It's absolutly AMAZING!

The hotel is lovely and you can see times square from the windows! My room you could see the MTV studio! But because of the location the prices are not cheep!

How long are you there for? When you get to the big department stores like macys go to the customer services dept and tell them your an international traveler show your passport and you'll get an extra 11% discount! We went just before Xmas they had sales on plus the discount god we saved a fortune! I took an almost empty suitcase and came home with a very full one lol!

If you can get to a restaurant called the rainbow room go for it, it's very expensive probably about 100 dollar per person but it was amazing! It's about 30 stories up and looks out over ny opposite the empire state building!
It snowed when we were ther and omg it was beautiful to watch!
