Pointless post but I'm so tired. Jamie has a cough. Its getting better and only seems to be bad at night now but he basically just coughs all night and then cries because its bothering him and because he really wants to sleep. By the time we (by which I do mean I) have settled him back down his started coughing again. I didn't get any sleep at all last night and have only really had an hour or so any night this week. I really thought I was going to pass out this morning. Did think about calling in sick but didn't think I could justify it for tiredness and I have a couple of classes doing presentations today. Really hoping this cough might go soon. If nothing else its turned my happy little boy into a bit of a grouch because he isn't feelinbg great and is so tired.

ditas like that every night through the whole of winter =o(

Poor you, its really hard when you are tired. Not being funny but cant your OH take a turn?? Why should you do it all the time when you are at work too?

He could but he doesn't wake up (I don't know how he manages to sleep through it). He says to wake him up but by that time I'm up anyway so may as well deal with it

I would elbow him and then roll over and go back to sleep. It's not fair on you to do all the night shifts.
