Yes!!! I never realised how much social workers had to drive until I started my new job. Im always being sent up dual carriage ways/country roads/strange towns etc to collect kids or drop them off at appointments. Its worse I think when you have a passenger that you are responsible for! Iv no sat nav and am forever phoning the kids lost in some estate somewhere.
Im am the worlds most nervous driver & hate handover when they allocate who going where that day. Worst thing is once my insurance is sorted il be driving an 8 seater people carrier/bus thing. Im used to my tiny 3 door car, im sooo nervous!!!
