I'm looking for either joggers or leggings for Libby but I'm struggling to find them long enough in the leg and small enough in the waist. So far I have tried:

Primark, Asda, Tesco, Next,Gap, Sainsburys, H&M

Does anyone else know where I can get them from? Its getting ridiculous, everything apart from adjustable waist trousers/jeans fall down!!

Oh and they have to be as cheap as possible too, she's pretty much outgrown all of her bottoms

try h+m. not sure what the girls stuff is like but the little boys things are really long and skinny (and the cords/jeans have good internal adjusters for trousers). vests and things are really long though and sort of tightish

I've tried them too Mari, honestly she is ridiculously skinny - it used to be OK when she was wearing a nappy as it used to help keep them up but now they literally fall down. Its not as if she overly tall and skinny either - shes in 18-24 months bottoms but they still fall down

Probably just have to stick to adjustable waist ones xx

Oops I knew there was more I'd tried but forgotten to mention. Peacocks are really wide fitting, Pumpkin Patch are too wide too - the waist on 12-18 are perfect but length too short

Suse you could put adjustable waists on ones that fit the leg but not the waist?
All you need is some thickish cotton, couple of buttons per pair and some button elastic... I've not done it before but you'd just need to make and sew on a 'tunnel' with some good cotton fabric around the back and sides (where you see them on adjustable trousers normally, then thread the elastic through, stitch it nice and firm in the middle at the back, then sew a button on the side and hey presto adjustable waists

I have managed to alter her pyjamas ( ) as they had a nice wide waist band on them so I just unpicked the seam, shortened the elastic and sewed them back up and they are now perfect.

I have taken in some leggings before that were from Next but to be honest I just couldnt be bothered with the hassle, was hoping I could buy some without having to faff with them

vertbaudet - they are normally quite small made. I think if you ordered her actual size in clothes from there then they would be perfect as hannahs an age 3 and only 18 - 24 (just getting into 2-3)

ohh yeah we couldn't get elijah into his vertbaudet clothes - length or waist - and he really isn't particularly big

im afraid i have to just stick with adjustables too, none seem to fit ok! x

have you tired mothercare? i find they are quite small. i have to get the next size up for paige as she is pretty big

Boots or BHS? We have T-shirts from both which are too long in the sleeve and too tight across the chest, can't get the 2nd arm in. Not sure how their trousers fit though, we only have stretchy leggings from there and Anna is rather younger and probably at the broad end of the spectrum. Generally for Seb I've found Boots stuff small - there were T-shirts in the sale with ridiculously small neck holes.

M&S are extremely random on the cut/fit of their stuff so you might find something that works.

Callums like that i find primark joggers good cos u can tie them at the waist and they look fine if there even tho there longer in the legs x
