i have made some tree decorations for christmas but i was just wondering if i can make ornaments as well and if they will dry in time? i air dry mine as they never turn out right if i put them in the oven!
i wanted to make snowmen and a little santa ect for the girls to pain to wanted them like 3d ornaments insted of flat ones

That makes perfect sense to me, but if it's a large ornament then it will take longer to cook through to the middle so be careful you don't burn the outside in the process.

I want to know how to make the stuff in the first place and how long / hot to cook it on. - can you give instructions plz? I am clearly too lazy to google it for myself!

Can't believe you posted this, I was going to do some with Imogen today but never got round to it!

It's 2 cups Plane flour
2 cups of salt
1 cup of water
Mix all together to make a dough roll it out an cut decorations out don't forget to put the hole in it for the string to go thou :-)


I love doing salt dough have done the girls hand prints aswell
